Yaya, Linden's cherished Lion, made a bold move today down at Wally the Bally, our neighbor's tetherball. Go, Yaya! Hit that ball!

Swim Lessons

The girls are taking swimming lessons for the first time--Goldfish class, hurrah! They have been practicing their kicks, and also practicing not getting out of the pool when the class ends. Why let a good thing come to an end? This is the philosophy I'm trying to beat. Good luck, me.

Riding Ribsy

Beverly Cleary grew up in Portland and there is a park which has some groovy bronze sculptures in her honor. Here is Linden riding on Ribsy, something I'm sure we all wanted to do at some point in our literary lives!

Summertime

Linden is such a big girl! Loving a cup of kombucha at Nonny and Poppy's house!

Ione's new doll: Originally Baby Seatbelt, then Baby Vanilla, finally Baby Penelope. We sure hope this one sticks.

We love our matching jackets!

The girls are currently into their matching fleece jackets (thanks again to Susan, the special jacket fairy!!) and like to wear 'em with their rain boots and, in this case, undies.

Hoo boy--our laptop is dying and that's the latest obstacle/excuse for lack of pictures. But I've managed some!
1. Ione and Linden like to come downstairs in the a.m. with jammies and blankies--and big smiles.
2. Linden is getting into half-naked yoga!
3. Dinosaur princess dress up is the best!
