Post haircut!
Hmmm..you can't really tell judging from this angle, but the dreads are gone! An unforeseen change was that she looks older. I'm still trying to come to terms with that... Hello, that's how it works!

Our hairstylist Lori knew just what to do:
1. Put a cape on Baby Onie (named by Ione who has a healthy sense of self-esteem!) that matches
2. Put Ione on her mama's lap so she can look at something familiar
We also let Ione eat as many pee-pee treats as she wanted--bag on my lap!

It was time for Ione's first haircut as her dreadlock count was up to 8. Here's the before pic...

Ione thought of a creative use for her new laundry basket. Surprisingly, Linden didn't complain. Ah, sisters.
